Re: What have you just eaten or drunk? Reply #716 – 2014-10-12, 01:15:42 Skipped the frog porridge at the backyard restaurant in Zhuhai near Macau, and went for a sea of very fresh sea food instead, big headed prawns, crab, and some langoustine-lobsterish thing with colourful and hot peppers, chili, and spices. For lunch the goal is bacalhau, we'll see how it works out.

Re: What have you just eaten or drunk? Reply #722 – 2014-10-13, 08:59:18 The frog porridge (or 'congee' as it generally is called in English) was postponed to breakfast, and then skipped fully as we ran out of time. The same happened to the bacalhau, as Macau is a mess. That's what happens when you let private companies run a country. Now back in well-functioning Hong Kong. Had a well-cooked goose, pieces of it anyway, a variety of dim sum, udon noodles with seafood, and pu'er tea.
