I don't normally eat my bread in sandwich form. Anyhow, my staple "sandwiches" are with cheese and with peanut butter.

This isn't really my thing, but some might like it. :P

Cheese is my favourite sandwich filler, cheese and onion specifically.
Not really keen on cold cuts of meat, though I do have it occasionally. It must be accompanied by either a pickle or mustard though, else I wouldn't eat it.
The start and end to every story is the same. But what comes in between you have yourself to blame.

It was in the 1950s. A fresh, light rye roll, available from only one Polish bakery in Ackland street, Melbourne. Corned beef, made by my mother who tried valiantly for years to teach me to copy it (without success), and a subtle, not overwhelming chutney whose recipe died with my mother fifty years later.
