Sunny, about 80F. Storms, possibly severe, predicted for tonight.
A quick look at the weather shows a line of storms along the Iowa/Minnesota border, but otherwise clear from the direction weather comes from around here.

Note: Because of my "job", my view of the weather tends to cover a large area. I may have to go there, after all-- so heavy weather in Alabama, or in Iowa, or in Pennsylvania may be as important to me as weather here in the Western 'Burbs of Chicago.

It's gonna get nasty. Looking at the radar images, a bad line of storms just blew up in the last hour. We're under severe storm warnings as I write this, large hail, damaging winds and lots of cloud-to-ground lightning are expected.

The storms have passed, mostly noise and a little rain here. Right now, sunny with highs expected to reach the lower 80s F.

Scattered showers for over a week. Humidity is so high 85F feels like over 95! :(
