Predictable ending though. Not sure it'd be suitable for my kiddos. The oldest is 8. Although, I believe my 8 year old niece has seen all the Harry Potter movies. I've never seen them.

I was probably about 8 years old when I saw Jurassic Park in theater. Jurassic Park was rated red-colored AL* (alle leeftijden, all ages). I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Hobbit is rated 12, but in the meantime the system changed drastically. It's now an industry thing instead of independent, and sometimes they up the ratings to better appeal to teenagers.** I'd give it a guideline rating of something like 8 or 9, but keep in mind I'm continental European/Dutch and obviously I don't know your kids. * Green-colored AL iswas equivalent to G; red-colored to PG. Better luck next time. TBH, I never seen the ending. I have a habit of falling alseep. They just seen Jurassic Park sometime this year. Transformer has always been a big hit with them. They've watched some Spiderman but I try to steer away from movies that don't fall in their age group. I want them to keep their innocence as long as possible.
