Topic: The less issues, the more issues. (Read 2013 times)

The less issues, the more issues.

Maybe I'm missing something, but why does the issue count in "weekly reports" almost never correspond to the number of closed/new issues?  :right:

For example Weekly report #22 (02-06-2014) says 74 issues are still open..
And then comes Weekly report #23 (09-06-2014) which says we have 11 new issues while 18 were closed. I'd expect the total issue count to be 7 less, but it is said to be 7 more instead, why?

@Webmut, it's what Github Pulse shows, it makes more sense after analyzing how it works. ;-)

Welcome, Webmut! string noticed that you're our 100th member:hat: :cheers:

@Emdek: I only see active issues there, not open issues?

@Frenzie, that value comes from Issues page.

Alright, I will consider it to be some Github Magic.  :wizard:

@Frenzie
What a great honor!

Maybe I should introduce myself then:
I've been watching Otter closely from the start, since I'm a long-time Opera user unsatisfied with its current direction.
I am mainly a php/pgsql backend developer, but I know the basics of C++ as well. I'll try to make myself useful around here and help with some simple tasks or at least report the bugs I can't fix myself.
