You've succumbed to Trump Derangement Syndrome — covers the most of it that matters. (That you succumbed very early on doesn't mitigate your responsibility: You were not a child. That you were a child when propagandized by the Soviets does explain but not mitigate your TDS: You were an educated adult when you "learned" to hate America, and your hatred for Trump is prompted by and predicated on his ability to rehabilitate America's Constitutional Republic.) You're willing to accept any and all of the Lefts's wild accusations — do you still believe Hilary Clinton's "Oppo-Research" fronted by former MI6 spy Christopher Steele? :) [1] You think Bragg and James in New York and Willis in Georgia and Smith as an illegitimate "independent" federal counsel  are paragons of processional virtue? I'd wager you mean only if their target is Trump or Trump--adjacent.

See, you start off with a Trumpite propaganda concept. This means you are projecting. You are the one under the spell of propaganda.

And the rest is also propaganda lies that we have already gone over and demonstrated with fact-based analysis that it's propaganda lies. Not only are you bottomlessly wrong about everything, but it's hopeless to fix. Sad, very sad.

Trump was joking too, at first.

But yeah, Romney does not go all-in into his jokes and this makes him an unlikely candidate. And he is an establishment guy and actually competent both in office and in business, none of which is in vogue anymore. Trump set the new standard: Openly corrupt, incompetent, criminal, lying, and warmongering. Romney does not qualify.

I was very wrong in my prediction of Donald Trump's (second) chances. Now I think times have genuinely changed in favour of populists, liars, lawbreakers and totalitarians, both in politics and in business. A decent guy may win elections accidentally (even if the elections are rigged, which they increasingly will be), but when in office it is mandatory to become a corrupt hysterical lunatic or lose the post in short order. Romney does not have the requisite temperament. I remember that he tried to smuggle himself into Trump's administration both the first and second time, but was rejected both times because he is just not enough of a scum sleazebag — no sex scandals, no open racism and selfish thievery, therefore worthless.

He will be 81 in 2028, so he will at least be of right age.
