That's what you call skill. Amazing.
The start and end to every story is the same. But what comes in between you have yourself to blame.

Aww. Sweet pics! My mind is currently drawing a blank beyond something cliché like Hoefje (Little Hoof). :P

Edit: umm, that was a reply to the post from 1.5 months ago.

Cliche names in another language pass just fine actually. IDK why I never thought of that. I've run out of the English variety. Two of my three (now) four donkeys (Right, they making babies too.) are just called Jack and Jenny. But that's like naming a rock, Stone.

So, is that pronounced like Hoofie?

That's the diminutive in my informal native variety of Dutch, but in Standard Dutch it's hoof-yuh. I'd consider both pronunciations more or less interchangeable. In informal Belgian Dutch it'd be hoefke (hoof-kuh).

Compare cookie, borrowed from Hollandic koekie, with Standard Dutch koekje (cook-yuh). In Belgian Dutch that'd be koekske (cook-skuh).

Btw, if you're looking for something "exotic" there's whole databases full of e.g. horse names: http://www.paardennamen.nl/ And this forum has some donkey names: http://www.12forum.nl/forum/bericht.php?ID=554&tID=482&fID=1 (I'm sure most will work for any hoofed animal.)

Thx ;D

You have now named a horse. The lighter colored and younger of the two is yours.

In a few hours it's the end of this year of the horse. Midnight Beijing time (seven hours from now), we enter the year of the wood goat (or sheep if you prefer).

Here we go again. I was hoping for a girl from this one. She hasn't got any daughters yet.

Still cute. (Still needs a name.)

How about Bobbie, after the Dutch name for Milou (Snowy), Tintin's dog. :P
