Opera Mobile for SE P800 was a very good version that I happily used until the phone's battery became unsustainable almost a decade later.Funny that this thread should be the last to entropy here. Re: DnD entropy Reply #55 – 2019-07-27, 01:26:46 Okay, I guess I should chime in: Opera 6.03 for Mac....which I paid for! But, at the time, Microsoft's Internet Explorer was what was available. And, oh yeah, I liked it -- Opera, that is.(As you can see, I'm trying Opera's browser again... Quick Quote 1 Likes
Re: DnD entropy Reply #56 – 2019-07-27, 15:57:41 OMG when you resurrect like that you are killing the entropy I have no use for new Chropera. I used the old Opera more for email and IRC than for browsing the web, and the new one doesn't do email, except for webmail, which is a bit different thing. The new Chropera also lacks some of the convenience features of Vivaldi, so really no use for Chropera. For a while I had mutt set up, but Opera 11 is still my main mailer and browser for this forum. For sentimental reasons, I guess. Quick Quote Last Edit: 2019-07-27, 16:17:57 by ersi
Re: DnD entropy Reply #57 – 2019-10-03, 14:00:35 I was just looking at the Opera forum, and it says "Joined Dec 15, 2002, 1:00 AM". So I might be confusing lurking with joining or some such. Also of potential interest is that I hadn't posted on the Opera forums since 2014. Quick Quote

Re: DnD entropy Reply #68 – 2021-08-12, 05:23:38 For the second time the entropic interval increase happened here in the entropy thread, last time was message 31. We can imagine a far-flung future, in the throng of the universal heat-death, where this thread alone is updated irregularly by perfectly well-formed and valid messages from semi-sentient Perl scripts hawking Viagra to a species that no longer exists, because if they ceased, they wouldn't exist either. This site, long ago self-hosted off-world, would be one of the last remnants of this lost one, that apart from the flashes of Perl-by-perpetual-night remains completely tranquil. Anyway, new update.Quote from: jax – on 2021-08-01, 16:48:39Last post: 2021-07-22, 17:07:09This post: 2021-08-01, 16:48:39Old interval: 8 days, 22 hours, 30 minutes and 1 secondThis interval: 9 days, 23 hours, 41 minutes and 30 secondsPrevious delta: 3 minutes and 56 secondsThis delta: 1 day, 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 29 seconds Last post: 2021-08-01, 16:48:39This post: 2021-08-12, 05:21:23Old interval: 9 days, 23 hours, 41 minutes and 30 secondsThis interval: 10 days, 12 hours, 34 minutes and 59 secondsPrevious delta: 1 day, 1 hour, 11 minutes, and 29 secondsThis delta: 12 hours, 53 minutes and 18 seconds Quick Quote
