The Cost of Life - when less is more.

I drink a whisky for 2,2 euros.
A beer for 1 euro.
A coffe for 55 cents.
 ;)
A matter of attitude.

What does water cost you? :) (Not to mention piss…and vinegar!)

Oh, you want to compare costs across the continents? Would you insist on the bar bills? Or can we buy the stuff and take it home… :)
As an American famously said, "You know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself…"

There's nothing under the sun you can't compare, course you can buy stuff and take it home, 12 euros for a bottle of JB, 4 to 7 for a bottle of medium quality red wine.

Water?? when you have an iron health you shouldn't drink water, it may rust. :)

As an American famously said, "You know when I drink alone, I prefer to be by myself..."
The same guy also said One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer... didn't he asked for the bill?

More than continents, what matters is lifestyle.
A matter of attitude.

A good bottle of wine $8-$12
Pint of Jägermeister: $14 (Me and the Missus can drink about a pint in a week)
Six pack of beer - "tall boys" (16floz): $8.xx (That can last more than a week. Petty much just to chase the jager with.)
My coffee is kinda stupid high @ $3.15 per 16floz.
Smokables - $6 a pk. Pipe tobacco is a lot cheaper. I think the last pack of mid-grade aromatic was like $4 and lasted a month.

Smokables - $6 a pk.
A pack of cigarettes (20) costs me an obscene amount of 4,20 euros.
That's more than 800 Escudos, before the Euro it would cost me 150 Escudos, less than a euro. (1 Euro = 200,424 Escudos).

Not too much difference for the wine... strange.

House renting - In Lisbon a T1 will cost you, minimum, 500 Euros per month. If you are not a tourist. :)

That would be whiskey then.  ;)
The start and end to every story is the same. But what comes in between you have yourself to blame.

Would the I'm so funny video guy work in contact with nature everyday instead wanting to turn a youtube vedette and he would make 1500 50 cents sandwiches each six days. Then, the parasite would have some utility.

In this case, the cost of reform, 66 years and three months. Because life expectancy.
Of course, when I arrive there, it will be 135 years and a couple monthes.

Reform costs one third of all the money you win during all your lifetime. My advice, don't live long, just live rich.

On April 1 (…oh, the irony!) California will add an additional $2 pre pack tax on cigarettes… (My local stores have already added 30 cents per pack… Go figure!) When the politicians figure out that their "cash cow" is being killed, they may reconsider. NOT!
They're stupid and venal and -dare we say it?- yes, mercenary.

Sounds like they can't win no matter what — too small a tax, it's just a tax cow, too large a tax, they're too stupid to realize they're killing the cash cow. :P

They don't need to win, Frenzie… They just need for us to lose.
And now Camila Harris will replace Boxer in the U.S. Senate! Lord, help us!

You and @Belfrager out to fly to the Netherlands and try some of their weed. Great stuff.

No doubt at the end, you both will have solved the Catholic vs Protestant issue.

Would be a nice time to deal with the RC v Prot issue as it is 500 years marking that sensible priest Martin Luther giving the knuckle draggers a fright.  :D

There's nothing to deal with protestants and besides the weed in Holland is no good. Been there, done that, stupefying stuff specially tailored for no brain protestants.

Weed must be like good wine not like a mix of shit and crack.
