Why do we do this?

Most of you know, I'll talk to anyone! :)
The reason I'd give is simple; indeed, simple-minded: I want to know what other people think…
(I may not be the brightest bulb in the chandelier! :) But I do more appreciate the light more than the — Oh, what is that? Another post-colonial racist whatever? Have fun, Jimbro! Surely you know the phrase… Help me out!)
I do reject the opinions of some, as too far out there or too partisan. But, if they provide arguments for their points of view, I'll read and consider them.
[It might be heat and light… But I'm just a conservative! What do I know? :) ]
Of course. if they're black or brown, I'll ignore them?
The left would have us believe that -if they're black or brown skinned- we do so, us pink-skinned. But that's only because they assume I'm white…!

What do we actually argue about?

(I know, I've asked this question before… But I got no serious answers.)

I'll pose an answer: Politics. Who gets to be "in charge" of others. Some of us don't really want to be. Others can't stand that no one is…

So: The question as posed is simple!
Who should be "in charge"?

(We'll get to the why, later… :) )

I'm too far out there (thanks to God an entire ocean puts you away from me), I'm too partisan and, by a matter of attitude, I rarely provide arguments (very specially because I doubt that you understand the meaning of "argument").

So, you are totally free to reject my opinions. :)

As for your "one million dollars" question, to be in charge, I don't understand.

Anyway, since I was the only one to answer you, you can "like" my post. :)
A matter of attitude.

I couldn't resist, Bel! I gave you an "up" vote. Of course you know, I don't usually do such things… :)

BTW: I'm somewhat old: The question was only worth $64,000.

But you don't care, who's in charge? Or what they want to do?
I guess that explains how your country got where it is…

Whoever will be in charge I will be against.
A simple, coherent and reliable position of mine.

Where my country is? always ahead yours at all social and freedom rights, lifestyle and many other things too. No wonder you try to criticize it so much, just be patient, resign to the facts of life. :)
A matter of attitude.

Damn! If you could act you might have a career in Hollywood! (One of the few centers of economic activity that not only rewards stupidity but actually insists on it… :) )

Hhm, Oakdale. If Belfrager was stupid he would do well in the US whether  in politics or much else but he is fortunate to be thousands of miles away - like me!

I think the country and state would be just as well off if we followed that town in Alaska's example; they have elected a cat as Mayor for 15 straight years.

Mayor Stubbs, the Cat.
