3d rendering eating cpu so much,  and my i3 2100 is locked.

what is overclockable processor lga 1155 at pricerange $100 -  150.

is amd fx 6300 good enough?

cant afford intel i5 or i7 for nowadays,  they are just too expensive.

Good enough for what? If you are gaming the latest games, then their very idea is to make the best hardware bleed and only the latest and greatest hardware can take it. If you cannot afford it, stay with checkers. I do.

Nah, the vast majority of games worth playing will work just fine on older/weaker hardware. On top of that, for most of the more demanding games GPU is much more important and most post-2010 CPUs will do provided they're coupled with a post-2012 mid to high range CPU.

i use that to render 3d object.



gaming aint use 60% of my current cpu.

rendering with vray using 99% of cpu

Isn't 3D rendering software generally supposed to be able to take advantage of GPUs? Anyhow, an FX-6300 would help a lot if the rendering can be spread out over multiple cores (I mean, 6 vs 2…); much less if it's more about single-core performance. Are there maybe benchmarks out there with whatever software you use? Anything recommended by the developers?

i dont have super gpu.

using Open CL renderer .
it will crash when the output is set bigger than 600x600
