NATO nonsense
What a bunch of cold war creation NATO is. It should have been got rid of when the Warsaw Pact lot went. Now troops funnelled into Poland and the Baltic States. When did Russia indicate it wanted to invade the Baltics or Poland? And that clown who is the person in charge of NATO was on television saying how united everyone was. Yet the President of France said publicly that there is no problem with Putin or Russia re France. Greece and Italy said similar - so much for the so-called unity. And the President of the USA came on moaning about how most of the NATO members are NOT spending 2% of their GDP on military.

Trump invented a programme for European NATO countries to buy American weapons at marked up prices to be delivered to Ukraine.

NATO Allies and partners fund over 4 billion in PURL packages for Ukraine

But now USA is not delivering those weapons because of the Iran war.

US to delay weapons deliveries to some European countries due to Iran war

With Trump's USA you're guaranteed to get screwed.

RAF jets shoot down Russian drones over Ukraine for first time as conflict threatens to escalate
Two Royal Air Force Eurofighters were scrambled from Romania as Vladimir Putin's forces attacked ports on the River Danube in Ukraine.

The crew engaged and downed the Russian drones in Ukrainian airspace, said the Romanian Ministry of National Defence.

'On the morning of Saturday, April 25, Russian forces resumed drone attacks on civilian and infrastructure targets in Ukraine, near the river border with Romania, in Tulcea County,' said the Bucharest statement.

'The National Military Command Centre notified IGSU [General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations] regarding the establishment of measures to alert the population in the localities of Grindu and Isaccea, in Tulcea County, and at 02:14, a RO-ALERT message was transmitted.

'The Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft had radar contact with a target located 1.5 km [1 mile] from Reni, above Ukrainian territory.

'The pilots had authorisation to engage the drones.'
Edit: When relaying the above announcement, many outlets interpreted that NATO fighters were in Ukraine's airspace shooting down a drone (as is visible in the first heading, "RAF jets shoot down Russian drones over Ukraine..."). To put a stop to this interpretation, it was later added:
Colonel Cristian Popovici, head of the Information Directorate of the Ministry of National Defense, stated that the British pilots did NOT fire on the drone...
