Have you noticed that we usually debate only the bad things in life.

In this thread anyone can put down current news that they think is good (can be on any subject but not nasty, please, or so controversial that it provokes arguments). We can debate it and then move on when someone else posts some more happiness!

Austria got a government finally. The new Bundeskanzler is Christian Stocker (ÖVP). Musk's endorsement of Herbert Kickl (FPÖ) did not have enough impact. The article contains a timeline of the negotiations that took five months.

Trump envoy says Putin not planning to invade 'all of Europe'

Certainly good news for Western Europe at least, as usual... But hey, why keep Trump envoys (and Trump himself) carrying Putin's message? "I take him at his word in this sense, so, and I think the Europeans are beginning to come to that belief, too."
