I discovered a nice thing
I had to try it: Bet my writing gives the program conniptions!
I just have a doubt, do you want me to write in American English, British English, Canadian English or Australian English?
I'd have had you replace the first phrase with something more idiomatic; but it's not unclear or ungrammatical.
As you know, I'm never wordy... So I'd suggest "Would you rather I wrote...."; that way you'd see that English does actually have more than the few paltry tenses primers generally list!
Your usage above of "absolutely" is entirely correct; about the "the" before "Portuguese," either way is okay -- except perhaps to Elizebeth Barrett Browning, who was probably thinking of islands...
The reason I don't care is because any other nationality speaks English even worst,
I'm never going to convince you that there's a difference between the comparative and the superlative, am I?
"from bad to worse; from worse to worst -- and that's as bad as it gets" should help (though I doubt it will!)
How, I wonder, did that program allow to type this entire post without molestation?
