Cookie woes

I applied the patch to the latest git version, launched Otter from command line to Transifex.com and got the error

400 Bad Request
Request Header Or Cookie Too Large
nginx

After messing in the cookie jar, deleting things etc. I discovered I was able to log in to Github. It displayed as if everything were normal. However, after clicking around for some while, it threw the error up again (400 Bad Request) and back to the usual woeful situation. So the issue is real, even though not consistent.
