Not to worry. There's plenty of squirrels and birds in my yard to distract him if he should come looking for me... ;)

Cats generally feel comfortable in boxes.

Comfortable! One of my cats searches them out. Anything like a box servers her cat needs. One day recently we found her in a crèche that I made for my wife's Christmas scene, and she's also found a wicker tub that resides under an end table.

In Kosinskiy park, Moscow, people thought it a nice idea to set up feeding spots on trees for squirrels. Smarter observers noted, however, that those fat furry animals hopping nimbly on trees were actually rats. Fun fact: The park has a bridge called Rat Bridge.
