It happens here all the time.

Wine, coffee and chocolate are the main ones that we get conflicting views on every few months. I don't think anyone pays any attention to these reports anymore.

Some of those researchers get all excited to publish what they discover, and then a few months later they discover conflicting results. :whistle:

I didn't see any thread on World Cup 2018 at DND Central, so I just wanted to say that I totally did not expect Germany to lose to South Korea and got eliminated from World Cup so early.

Germany got what they deserved to be fair, to say they have been poor would be an understatement.
They didn't look like the world champions that they are that's for sure, they looked more like a bunch of players that had never played together before.

After seeing all the teams play now, I think Spain will most likely win it, though part of me want's mexico to triumph.  :D

I'm thinking Spain or Portugal in the Finals. I think Mexico can make it to Semi-finals if they do well. But I've lost my confidence with Argentina this year.

Don't blame you, each match they've played they don't look like half the team you would expect. Maybe the knockout stages will suit them better, they do tend to do better under pressure.

Probably true. But it looks like they ran out of luck after losing to France. I'm not a big fan of France. But I'm now keeping my eye on Belgium, they could come up with big surprises.

They did, but it was the best game in the tournament so far.  :yes:
Cracking goals from both teams, but France were the worthy winners in the end. Argentina can go home knowing that they played well in their final game, but were knocked out by the better team on the day.

They were kicked out by Russia :yikes:. Now that most of the favorite teams are out, don't be surprised if you get to see Mexico in the Finals :D But they have to defeat Brazil first :sherlock:
