If they do it justice, why not?
If they were good enough they wouldn't have to pretend to be someone else, they would be stars in their own right.  :D

I've done it for a Mozart cover band. Except then it's called a symphony orchestra.  :P
The start and end to every story is the same. But what comes in between you have yourself to blame.

What if the real Pink Floyd got back together one last time? (unlikely I know thanks to Roger Waters).
Would you go and see them even though the ticket prices would probably be far too expensive for most folk.

Depends on the ticket price. I would save a work's paycheck for their concert.  Heck, it's once in a lifetime experience and worth the spending

That's the problem. I don't know if you have the same problem over there as we have, but over here ticketing agency's seem to buy the bulk of the tickets then sell them via their website at overly inflated prices. Case in point Fleetwood Mac most recent tour saw tickets with a face value of £40 being sold for £2000.  :yikes:

Now I like Fleetwood Mac, but there would be no chance of me ever paying that sort of price to see them. If Pink Floyd were to do a one off concert I think that the ticket prices would be far much more than that.

Heck, it's once in a lifetime experience and worth the spending

You may be interested in this then, but as it's over here you would have a fair way to travel just for a concert.

Could Pink Floyd reunite to play Glastonbury?

Think I have a better chance of winning the lottery though and I've never ever bought a lottery ticket.  ;)

Yup I like Fleetwood Mac but £40 being sold for £2000 is a rip off :eyes:

Damm, I would spend £2000 which I think is about  $1000, but then I'll have to think twice about spending another $1000 just for the travelling expenses.

Wouldn't hurt to try the lottery ticket every now and then, you'll never know if you get lucky :)

Some people will pay it or they would never be on sale at that price. More the fool them I say.

Put yourself in a cardboard box and post yourself as cargo.  :P

I've never had an inclination to waste my money on it.
I know too many folk that have bought tickets every week for years and won absolutely nothing. If they had just saved the money instead, they could have had a few nice holidays abroad or a new car or similar.  :)

If you're not inclined to try, better stay away from it. It can get addictive, like gambling.

The only winners at gambling are the bookies.  ;)

If the bookies loose too much instead of winning, they will loose their job and the owner will have to close down his casino :D

I dunno, there's also money to be made in drinks and food. :)

Oh yeah, true :D I wonder if a casino ever lose money instead of making profit. For instance, what if ten customers win and take home $5000 each in one day, that's $50,000 profit lost for that casino on that day :sherlock:

When I was 18 (or possibly 19?) I went to a casino with my friends, 'cause, well, you know — you have to try it out and it's finally legal. I won some €40-ish, but my all of my friends' losses more than made up for that.

Anyway, I see no problem with it in principle. If you say you've got X amount of money that you'll spend on a night out then it's no different than renting a pool table or going swimming or whatever. I consider it overly expensive in fun vs money spent and I haven't gone since.

The stringently regulated (to prevent addiction and whitewashing) Holland Casino nevertheless makes a profit so I don't think we have to worry about the poor casinos. :P

I don't think I've ever been in a casino. Was going to go in one when I was on holiday once, but was turned away at the door for not being dressed appropriately. A pair of jeans and a t-shirt was obviously below their required standards.

I think it is okay if you gamble moderately for entertainment. But I rather spend $50 playing bowling or eating at a nice expensive restaurant, instead of spending it on a jackpot slot machine. :D

I`ve never been to a casino either. Think I˚ll stick with bowling or playing pool, at least I can wear a T-shirt anytime.:D

Actually I had the most fun (and profit :P) with some Sega fake horse race machine but maybe that's just because I didn't know it until then. It's super corny. There are videos on YouTube:

That looks like fun, especially if you're into horse racing :D

Afraid so, she wanted something healthier. If that's not grounds for divorce I don't know what is.  :D
