No problem.  :)

It's an HP ENVY 17-n110na.
Intel® Core™ i7 processor, 12GB Memory, 2TB SATA HD,  NVIDIA GeForce 940M (2 GB),
Full-HD display (1920 x 1080, Bang & Olufsen with 4 speakers and 1 subwoofer.
4 USB 3.0 (1 HP USB Boost), 3D Camera.

Sexy as hell in it's aluminium case with a carbon liner.  :D

Ah, basically a desktop replacement type laptop?

Btw, I had to look up this 3D Camera.

The Intel® RealSense™ Camera F200 is actually three cameras in one—a 1080p HD camera, an infrared camera, and an infrared laser projector—to measure depth and enable the computer to read facial expressions and gestures and swap out backgrounds. It’s integrated into select all-in-ones, 2-in-1s, and laptops.

So you can make Minority Report gestures at your laptop now? I have to admit I'm intrigued. It also reminds me of that Opera April's fools from a little while ago.

Yes that's exactly what I was after. Felt I deserved it after sticking with my old laptop for so long.  :D

No idea. Sounds impressive if nothing else.
Don't think I ever used the camera in my old laptop and can't see it being any different with this one. Maybe I should actually watch Minority Report to give me ideas of the possibilities.  ;)

Sounds like a kick-ass music & computer gaming type of laptop :D

It's definitely capable of that, though I rarely ever do any gaming on my computer these days.
I got fed up of driver issues all the time in the past, so tend to keep my gaming to my gaming console. Insert disk then play, much less stressfull.

Just have to get round to installing everything now, oh the joys.

Similar issues here. My old games for Win95 is outdated and won't play on my laptop, and my laptop is outdated for newer games
What are you installing, Luxor? Isn't the laptop ready to go when you turn it on?

Oh yes it was all ready to go, with a lot of added useless junk/trial stuff that is getting removed.
But I have to install all the other programs that I use nearly every day. I didn't think is was all that many until I started to take note of them all.

It was my fourth semester. I'm still working on my prerequisites. I would of been done with them a lot sooner had I taken more classes per semester, but I  didn't want to take on too much. The semester I just finished, I took 4 classes (Psychology, Theatre, History, and English). I have two more semester before nursing school. I hope to start that next spring.

Can't blame you for that. We all need some "me time", especially when you have a family to care for too.

Can't beat a nice new gadget to make you happy.
Hope you have fun with it.

I was off to hospital today and we were halfway there when there was a almighty clattering sound from under the car. Told my wife to pull over and I had a look under the car. Oh-oh! There's the exhaust hanging off, the car was going nowhere.

Can you guess which day my wife decided she wouldn't need to take her phone with her?

So I didn't get to hospital, had to pay for a taxi home and now have an expensive breakdown and recovery to pay for.

It could have been worse, it could have been raining. Fortunately it was a perfect sunny day for sitting on a roadside.
Luckily for us it happened just as we exited a town and we weren't stuck in the middle of nowhere. That would have been a lot worse.

That's no good. Ever make it to the hospital?

No I didn't, had to phone them and rearrange it, they were quite alright with it due to the circumstances though. Have a new appointment for next month to look forward to now, I'll be making sure my wife has her phone with her before we leave this time.

Lol. Good idea.

Speaking of hospitals... I took care of an elderly lady from England last night. Just when I thought the elderly couldn't be any cuter. We tried talking like one another every chance we got. I loved her accent.

Should do hopefully. Have an echogram, have a chat with the cardiologist, get the usual lecture about smoking then come home again.

There are many and varied accents in England. You may have needed a translator if she had been Scottish.

That should be fun. I had the same test done years ago. I had the same talk about smoking since they discovered my tricuspid valve was leaking (aka heart murmur). Needless to say, I didn't listen.

Lol. Good to know. I think I need a translator for some people here in the states. I encounter a lot of backwoods people or people with deep southern accents that sound like they are chewing their tongues when they speak. I tend to nod my head, as if I'm agreeing with them. I walk away not knowing if I agreed to commit murder. Haha!
