The Lounge / What music are you listening to right now?
Always interesting to know our chums musical tastes. Be they good, bad or downright embarrassing.  ;D
So what music are you listening to right now?

Forum Administration / Re: Questions to the Administrator

JoshL actually requested I stick a quick font size adjuster in the top right or something. That'd be easy. I could attach some localStorage to something like this:
Code: [Select]
javascript:void(document.documentElement.style.fontSize='12px')

I think that'd probably be the easiest way to satisfy various preferences.

Good idea, then we can set it to the size we individually feel comfortable with.  :)

Browsers & Technology / Re: Keeping an eye on Opera

On the subject of Opera itself, or rather Chopera, I've heard criticisms of it although nothing too specific except the Bookmark business (which is a killer for me) but I'd like to have a look. I presume one can just download and install it and get a new installation but the old Opera installation will remain untouched - any cautionary advice on that?

I want to see what it is like.

Run the installer, select Options and install for USB and select a directory to install it to. (as in screenshot)

That way it doesn't affect your current installation and after you've stopped laughing you can just delete it.  ;D

Pretty sure that payback is what was promised (since I don't say "cheque"). Promise kept!  ;D

Bet you do. Check or cheque sounds exactly the same. Unless you have a garlic stuffed olive in your mouth at the time of course, what that sounds like is anyone's guess.  ;)

Forum Administration / Re: Moderation

An international aspect with regard to timezones.

Than one is essential IMO. I'm a mod on another forum solely to deal with spam posts and there are a handful of us all in different timezones. It was desperately needed to combat the spam that plagued the place once upon a time. Still get the odd day when the bots get through but they are now dealt with swiftly regardless of the time of day.

Not that I know of.

Manners84 told me a few have expressed a willingness to keep in touch with each other. I'm not there enough to really know. Luxor might.

Yes there was a bit of discussion as to where we could go after the demise of MyOpera. I'll drop a message to them so that they are at least aware of this place. I think ohme is already aware of it but I know that others won't be, as I don't think they venture into DnD.
