Someone out there is looking at you

Outside it's drones, inside it's smart TVs.

Not in front of the telly

Maybe it is not so smart getting a Smart TV.

I suggest an armchair-mounted flame thrower.

It's worse than you think. National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden told the world last month that the agency can eavesdrop through the microphones of cellphones even when they’re switched off — a claim experts have now confirmed.

According to a team of security researchers cited in a Mirror report, a hack for such surveillance lies within Apple’s iPhone software, which is capable of “playing dead” while it’s still turned on.

We have two iPhones, so we're double covered.  :o

I imagine e.g. the Xbox 360 might've had this problem before any televisions did?

I own two of the damned things! A couple of days ago I heard them talking to each other.
"When is he coming home?"
"I don't know. I heard his wife talking about an Apple TV!"
"WHAT!?"

When younger I remember the Guardian Angel... No one speaks about the guardian angel anymore, I suppose they got extinct.

Nope, they just got replaced by the NSA.

My TV is old. So old it still has CRT, and is heavy as a pregnant elephant. But, it doesn't listen to you so I have that going for me, which is nice.
What would happen if a large asteroid slammed into the Earth?
According to several tests involving a watermelon and a large hammer, it would be really bad!

I don't know, but what would happen if a CRT TV evolved into a smart TV?
