Otter on VK.com (ВКонтакте)

My little attempt to promote Otter browser on the Runet — VK.com group, in Russian. Real Otter browser users are welcome!

Yes, I can read Russian. I understand they are following the project, but not very enthusiastic about it.

I'm nominally in Otter localization team, but not too enthusiastic, sorry. Maybe I'll try to integrate translation by WatsonRus, but don't promise anything.

If somebody wants to write about Otter on Habrahabr.ru on regular basis, we can register Otter as startup on Habrahabr. Every startup has 3 invites after registration, we can invite 3 new members to Habr.

Looks like people at Operafan.net don't want us to know what they think about Otter. They have hidden the thread :D

Operafan.net is not working for a month. I think the site is closed. But there are other sites where you can talk about Otter browser: https://vivaldi.net/en-US/  http://otter.su/  http://forum.ru-board.com/topic.cgi?forum=5&topic=46573 and of course this forum.

On CodeFreeze VK group. This event was in Russian, and all info about it is also in Russian. Video will coming soon, also on VK.

I went to this event for 3 things:

  • Look on "betrayors".

  • Listen to the development process of Chromium-based browser and about the difference between WebKit and Blink, in Russian.

  • Write an article about Otter on Habrahabr.ru, using the info above, to promote Otter in the Runet.


Only first two items complete. To write an article, I need to discuss it before, but haven't co-author yet.
