Title: Chaining keyboard shortcuts
Post by: odegard on 2015-07-12, 21:24:34
I would like to map '1' and '2' to "Close page && Switch to previous page" and "Close page && Switch to next page". My routine is that I have plenty of bookmarks in folders with nicknames. I can open all IT news sites in one go, web comics in one go, all this works great in Otter. Being able to close && switch is a great time saver for me. In my old life I could create actions and assign them to keyboard shortcuts. In Otter it seems you have a set of predefined actions and you can configure the shortcut. I've tried adding '1' and '2' to both "Close tab" and "Go to tab on left" and "Go to tab on right", but that doesn't work. Is there a way I can accomplish two actions with one shortcut?

This has been a request since forever, but will not be implemented. Instead, there will be JS scriptlets which hopefully get implemented soon.
