Title: SSL Certificate Notifications on allmost every website
Post by: TheSpecialOne on 2016-05-12, 12:09:57
Hi there,

nearly every website brings up multiple ssl notifications where it says:

"The issuer certificate of a locally looked up certificate could not be found"

Using the checkbox to disable any further notifications doesn't work for me. On websites like www.heise.de or www.amazon.de there coming about 5 to 10 of these notifications.

It might be relevant to say that otter is running on a XP x64 (aka 2003 R2 Kernel 5.2) machine. Maybe there are missing ssl certificates?

Otherwise, would it be a feature to disable all of those notifications by one option in the otter settings?

Thanks!

Have no warnings while opening both sites with Otter, on XP x86 and Windows 7 x64.

@TheSpecialOne, currently we don't ship own SSL certificates so there is a chance that something is messed up on your system.
You should be able to remember choice for specific errors, disabling them completely is risky.
