Title: H.264/WEBM video & Otter Browser on Windows XP SP3 32-bit
Post by: Momijiharp on 2018-08-31, 18:07:12
I know, overdescriptive title. But:

my problem is that I cannot play any form of HTML5 video on Otter Browser, using XP SP3 32-bit fully updated with no POSready patches. I am using a netbook, my only device other than my phone, specifically a Compaq Mini CQ10-101SA, which has GMA 950 integrated graphics.

Is there any way to resolve this? I noticed in folder 'lib' there is directory for 'gstreamer-1.0', would it be possible to recompile ALL plugins from latest XP-compatible version of GStreamer (1.6.4) and use it? I also have the K-Lite MEGA Codec Pack installed, if that can also help.

Thanks :)

Read this thread from here (https://dndsanctuary.eu/index.php?topic=1659.msg74196#msg74196).
It worked for me, and YouTube plays videos using HTML5 fine for me with Windows XP SP3.
HTH.
