For one, I bore myself by some shooting on a cell-phone. But what I like is certain 'action' browser games on my nettop.
What's nice with browser games, is that they don't need downloading. I mean as files, apps onto the machine, and...

Frans, the 'new site' got the "minutes" again.  Minutes might be ok, but...
I, for one, would prefer
[0]1 hour, [0]1 day, [0]a week, [0]a month, [0]forever;
with the default one being 1 week.

The Lounge / What have you just bought?
It may be just now, today, or on this week - if it's something more major than a pack of toilet paper;)

For one, just now I bought a pack of grapefruit juice, 1.5l mineral water, loaf of wheat bread, a pack of cheap coffee (ground)... Some cookies... How is it called? "Sliced dough"? "Layered dough"?:D
That dough - simple - pumped with sugar:)
The juice I have already tasted --  ;D, yummy:))

The ⬆ and ⬇ buttons have just disappeared from my scrollbar here! It seems to me that they were previously - cause I tend to use such stuff while editing.

What if I, or anybody, will not substitute the OS with anything else, but be willing to use the device for surfing/using the Net somehow?
Are there ways?
I thought about something like
  • using the nb as a router for other devices,
  • trying not to download new apps onto it,
  • visiting/using only known/already explored sites/services...
    What else? If it can be 'go' - what should I NOT do?

Browsers & Technology / After XP — OS alternatives for Samsung NP?
I have a 'nettop' — a smaller type of laptop with a somehow weaker processor and all.
Now it runs by Windows XP Home edition, I somehow like this shit and at the same time don't get, eg, Windows 7.
I guess that there's Windows 8 which is proposed to upgrade the system — but will it be an UPgrade? What does that Windows 8 look like? Does it resemble 7 or rather something else? Is it worth taking or are there any other such OSs one could well use on such a thing as a Samsung NP?

The beginning of this topic is here. The poll there went wild, so I decided to renovate the feedback this way...
The discussion (feedback) here won't be about "how it works" but rather about "how it looks" — e.g. do you feel comfy with the appearance of certain pages or not? And why?

Note about poll to Frans: I've already mentioned - and even sent you screenshots - that after entyping a rather long line in (eg) an option box (field) (like it's the case here now) the poll creating tools/settings get warped on the page. Now I was forced to reduce my browser zoom - nah, not to default - much smaller - to get the options (the creating ones) back.
About the poll. The voters can change their vote (for now); and the visibility has been set "to anyone" (for a record etc.).
NB2. While previewing, the "line glitch" doesn't seem to itch when I upped the zoom back to 110%.

  • Frans, I just tried to add there something about my birth date - and chose to specify only the year. So far it's seemed to me that it didn't show - at least I can say I saw the zeros in the box there again after saving the input.

Th-hh. Well, I see 1 point to 'report' now, but it may be needed in the future as well - should some roughnesses or inconcistencies are noticed...
For example, with 150% zoom on Chrome, I now have the "Logout" link directly beneath the "Home" one (which I use quite often).  Unless logging out here requires sort of confirmation (haven't checked that so far), it'll be not very convenient to mishit a button there...
I suggest we could lose "My" in the bookmarks link.

By the by!  I've checked - in the poll options - the box allowing you to change your voting, so...  Let's see - and let us check that thing as well, oki?

What does this "Maximum votes per user" do - in the "Poll Options"?
Well, I just checked the attachments feature here on the Forum, and found that we can't attach anything significant. Even no image formats I know of are listed. The size limit is next to zero for what I would like generally.
It is understandable, but the question arises: what a hell do we do if we care about sharing some breastsphotos?
Now I get it that we should find some other place so to put there our masterpisses, then post a link for them here when we need to show them. Monsterpieces, I mean...
What do you think? Does anybody already have some experience somewhere about that imaging? I, for one, would like it to be easy to use, for example. Not buggy. Not very NSAish? Well, skip it;) In few words, I'd like it simple.
I don't know much about flikr, uninformed what other picture hostings exist, etc. What I know is that I like to have smooth uploading, clean previewing, and not very scriptish watching/leafing. Too many befoldered pages for one image like on flikr? It doesn't look tidy for me...
So what have you say?..
