hi,

just went to sourceforge to download the 32bit .deb file to install Otter and after downloading the file and trying to install it, its not showing up anywhere on my pc.
i've tried reinstalling it, restarting system stuff like that, but with no luck, any idears?

i'm using linux mint 17.1 cinnamon edition 32bit

DEB packages from sf.net are very outdated, try these (for Ubuntu, but might work there too):
https://launchpad.net/~otter-browser
